CMAS Reminder

Dear 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Families,

This is just a reminder that we will begin CMAS testing next week.  Please look at the schedule dates below.  If at all possible, make sure to schedule appointments on non-testing days or during the afternoons.  

The 3rd – 5th grade students who ARRIVE ON TIME FOR TESTING AND COMPLETE THEIR TESTS DURING THE SCHEDULED MORNING BLOCK FROM 9-12PM will receive a special treat at the end of each testing day.  ONLY THE 3rd-5th GRADE STUDENTS WHO ARE HERE DURING THE MORNING TESTING BLOCK WILL QUALIFY TO RECEIVE THE SPECIAL TREAT at the end of the day.

In order to ensure your child(ren) are able to demonstrate their best work and effort, please make sure that they get plenty of sleep the night before and a good breakfast the morning of testing.  Remember, the school cafeteria provides breakfast beginning at 8:40am.  There are no scheduled snacks during the testing period between 9-12pm, so please make sure they are rested, fed and at school on time so they can be ready to shine! 

Week 1 –

  • Tuesday, April 9th – ELA Unit 1 – 9am-12pm, 3rd-5th grades
  • Wednesday, April 10th – ELA Unit 2 – 9am-12pm, 3rd-5th grades
  • Thursday, April 11th – ELA Unit 3 – 9am-12pm, 3rd-5th grades

Week 2 –

  • Monday, April 15th – Math Unit 1 – 9am-12pm, 3rd-5th grades
  • Tuesday, April 16th – NO TESTING 
  • Wednesday, April 17th – Math Unit 2 – 9am-12pm, 3rd-5th grades
  • Thursday, April 18th – Math Unit 3 – 9am-12pm, 3rd-5th grades
  • Friday, April 19th – NO SCHOOL

Week 3 –

  • Tuesday, April 23rd – Science Unit 1 – 9am-12pm, 5th grade ONLY
  • Wednesday, April 24th – Science Unit 2 – 9am-12pm, 5th grade ONLY
  • Thursday, April 25th – Math Unit 3 – 9am-12pm, 5th grade ONLY
