Discovery Link Registration Open!

DPS Discovery Link will return with reduced capacity to regular before and after school programming, starting Monday, Sept. 21st for ECE only. Registration for ECE-5th grade opens at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16th. Families who have already enrolled their students in Discovery Link programming can register for the days their students will attend by clicking here. For families new to Discovery Link, please click here to enroll. Hallett Academy only accepts students ages 5+.

Only students who are attending in-person learning will be eligible to register and must attend school the days they attend before and after school programs. Please check with your school about the date of return to in-person learning for each grade level. Students whose grades have not yet returned to in-person cannot attend before and after school.

Sites are limited to 60 students total including a maximum of 10 ECE students. Morning programming will begin at 6:30 a.m. and last until the school bell, and afternoon programming will begin at the school bell and last until 6:00 p.m. *Time subject to change. Cohorts will be no larger than 15 students to promote social distancing and will be split by grade when possible. Students will also be outside as much as possible, weather permitting.

Safety

Discovery Link will maintain the safety procedures implemented over the summer and during Remote Learning Support

  • Temperature checks and documentation prior to allowing children into programming
  • No adults permitted inside – drop off and pick up will occur outdoors
  • No enrichment providers are permitted at this time ; limiting the number of adults
  • Staff health protocols including temperature checks and daily health screens
Registration

Families may begin selecting days in the calendar on 9/16. If you have already been approved to have access to your site’s calendar, click HERE to register.

For families new to Discovery Link, please click HERE to register.

  • Please only select days on the calendar that your child’s grade will be in person during the school day
  • Registration is first-come, first-served
  • If a day is not available on the calendar, it is full or it is a day when DPS is not in session.
Remote Learning Supports

Discovery Link will continue the Remote Learning Supports for students who do not yet have access to in-person learning. This 8:00-noon model will support grades who have not yet returned. In other words, Kindergarteners will not have access to this program beginning on 10/5.

  • If you want credit for remote learning support days you no longer need, login to your calendar and click “Remove” on the days you no longer need, and then click “Add to Cart”. You will be provided a credit for those days. Click HERE for a video detailing the process.
  • All Remote Learning Supports provided by Discovery Link will be closed after 10/15.
