Optional Summer Travel Opportunities

McAuliffe is excited to again offer optional travel during the summer of 2024! Please see below for links, informational flyers, and parent informational meetings

We have some important updates below regarding 2 our 2024 trips. Please see below for links and informational flyers.If you are interested in one of the trips below please sign up ASAP and put your deposit down to hold your spot. 

Due to low enrollment we are replacing the 8th Grade Civil Rights trip with our traditional 8th Grade Washington DC Trip.

  • Optional End of Year/Summer Travel Opportunities

    McAuliffe is excited to again offer optional travel during the end of year/summer of 2025! Please note that if trips do not meet their minimum required travelers by October 1st, trips could be cancelled. If you are interested in one of the trips below please sign up and put your deposit down asap to hold your spot. 

    • 8th Grade Washington DC Trip – May 16 – May 19 – Students will spend 4 days in the Capital of our country. Students will visit the National Mall & Washington Monument, Holocaust Memorial Museum, 9/11 Memorial, the Spy Museum and so much more!     • Iceland Trip – June 9 – 18 – Students will spend 10 days traveling throughout Iceland including Reykjavik, Pingvellir National Park, and Icelandic LAVA show and so much more!     • France Trip – June 9 – June 16 – Students will spend 8 days in and around Paris. Students will visit Normandy, Mont Saint Malo, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral and much more!     • New York Trip – June 2 – June 5 – Trip information meeting will be onTuesday, August 27th at 5:30 pm in the auditorium.  Students will spend 4 days in New York City seeing 3 Broadway Shows (including post-show “stage door”), Radio City Music Hall, Central Park, New York City Water Cruise, Top of the Rock Observatory, and more!.  The informational flyer is attached here. Trip leader is Ms. Beardshear, please email Sherry Beardshear with questions. Trip website to sign up.
